Just to get some perspective, there are plenty of people who suspect the quality of the british made AC30s, built in the Marshall factory at a time of relatively poor QC. the CC only had two inputs, but both amps have two channels and they can both be jumpered or you can plug 2 guitars in.
I don't get the obsession with the 4 input design. It's down to preference as to which you prefer. The tonal differences will be tiny until they're cranked, at which point the C will be a little stiffer than the CC. The difference between an AC30cc and c with decent speakers is that one is valve rectified, on is SS rectified, one is birch cab, the other is MDF (fine until it gets wet btw), one has hard to get to valves, the other has easy to get to valves that will bake the PCB more. Sure, an AC30cc with wharfdales will sound worse than an AC30c with greenbacks, but that doesn't mean the amp is worse. It's got tones of chime, depth and harmonic complexity. Pick your flavour by all means but I'm sick of reading that my amp is "thin" or "lacks cut" or is "sterile" or not well built. The amount of corksniffery I see when it comes to AC30 tone is unreal. It'll take on any of your UK TBXs or AC30c's.
